| NEXT PERFORMANCE!
The Trio will next be performing for Kyles of Bute Music Club on 16th April. The programme will consist of an exciting European tour featuring music from France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Great Britain. Repertoire will include Variations on Trockne Blumen by Schubert, German Arias by Handel, Cinq Melodies Populaires Grecques by Ravel, 2 arrangements of Irish folksongs for flute and voice by John Corigliano, and much more.
AUTUMN 2010"Strathallan Serenade": in October Trio Burnsteeg gave a recital at Strathallan School in Perthshire in association with Music in Hospitals. The programme included a range of baroque numbers, well known favourites, and contemporary music including: Handel German Arias, Saint-Saens Une Flute Invisible and Andre Previn's Two Remembrances.
SPRING AND SUMMER 2010
Over the summer the Trio completed a tour of the South East of England, performing at venues including St James Church, Emsworth and All Saints Church in Putney, London. They performed a programme of music by female composers and poets including the London premier of Lori Laitman's The Silver Swan. To view the programme please click here.
Trio Burnsteeg also performed an all American programme as part of Balquhidder Summer Music in July.
